Natural Food Certificate

Natural food has become perhaps the most basic needs of today. Agriculture and food products, which lose their naturalness day by day, also pose a serious danger to human health. The European Union started the Eco Label system in 1992. The aim of this system is to prevent the products from harming nature, environment and people. The European Union has set related standards in 1992. In our country, it conducts certificate applications within the framework of these standards.

The natural food certificate is also a certificate issued to food products. The products with this certificate do not contain components that are harmful to humans and nature. The production, use and recycling processes of the products mean that the standards are appropriate. With this certificate, fully natural foods are produced. The production, use and recycling processes of foods are documents that they are completely natural. With the natural food certificate, it is aimed to eliminate unnatural products from the market in the long term. Manufacturer companies are the main aim to control the production processes in the best way. In addition, it is among the targets to use technologies that do not harm the nature in these processes.

What is Natural Food Certificate?

Natural food certificate is a document showing the naturalness of food products. With this document, you can understand whether the products we have consumed are natural in their content. Natural food certificate is issued for products with natural production, consumption and recycling processes. The certificate in question is issued by authorized certificate companies. It is available in EU standards to which product groups this certificate can be issued. The EU first published standards on this in 1992. Later, it expanded its product groups.

Natural Food Certificate Certification Process

The naturalness of the food products consumed and the absence of chemicals are of great importance for healthy life. Adding various chemicals to foods and producing them with unnatural methods make the natural food certificate important. When food companies want to get a natural food certificate for their products, they must have an agreement with an authorized certificate company. This company will carry out the necessary work on the product to be certified.

The certification process in general is as follows. First of all, a certification application must be made for the product to be certified. This process is the first stage of the process. Certification application should be made in person and the process should be started. After the certification application is made, the certificate company checks whether the product is included in the certificate group and decide on the continuation of the process accordingly. If the product is included in the certification group, the certification contract phase will be started. At this stage, a contract is signed with the company on the product.

A sample product is requested from the related company with the contract phase. Half of the process is completed by providing the sample product by the company and delivering it to the certificate company. After this stage, the examination of the product begins. Tests and analyzes are carried out completely within the scope of product review. As a result of these controls, the certification phase, which is the last stage, is passed. The results of the tests and analyzes performed at the certification approval stage are examined. In these reviews, it is decided whether the product is natural. If the content of the product complies with European Union standards, the natural food certificate will be given to the relevant product.

With this certificate, the product will be a natural product. It is important that the product is more advantageous in the market and does not pose any threat to human health. Companies that are entitled to receive certificates will also have the right to market and advertise the product. All food products that have a natural food certificate can be consumed with peace of mind. It has no additives and does not contain chemicals. No components that can be harmful to the environment and nature are found in these products.

Companies that prove that their products and services comply with the Ekomark © Standard criteria in terms of human health and environmental protection are allowed to use the Ekomark © Label in these products and services.
