Differences Between Natural and Organic

In organic farming, it is aimed to restore the natural balance that has been lost as a result of wrong applications in the ecological system, and it contains human and environmentally friendly production systems, mainly synthetic pesticides, reducing the use of fertilizers, organic and green fertilization, preserving the alternating soil, increasing the resistance of the plant, natural It is a production system that enhances the effect of enemies and is demanded to create all these opportunities with a comprehensive system.

Organic product; It is a type of agriculture that does not use any chemicals or drugs in production and which is based on the environment and health-free production method. Before the organic products are put up for sale, every stage of the production and transportation processes should be checked, and individual certificates should be obtained. Certificates to be obtained should only be issued as a result of rigorous steps passed by the certificate institutions authorized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Turkey. The products offered for sale to the stage after receiving a passing grade absolute TCR of certified organizations to which it has notified the Ministry of Agriculture certification label, or "Organic agriculture and the Republic of Turkey" should be the logo.

The meaning of the word natural product means that it is found in nature. In short, the products that are not naturally treated or produced artificially are called Natural because they are in nature. Foreign countries define this meaning as products that do not contain color and synthetic additives. When we compare Natural and Organics from their origins, there are differences between them. Organic food is called foodstuffs that are produced and processed using specified organic means. On the other hand, natural food is generally not chemically altered and no changes are made to it. These are obtained from plants and animals. For this reason, a natural foodstuff is not organic, and vice versa. Organic foods, on the other hand, are foods that are environmentally friendly and comply with regulations. Organic production is a type of production made in accordance with the natural system and conversions. In the process of growing organic products, pesticide and synthetic fertilizers are not used. However, in the two Regulations on Organic Agriculture Law No. 5262, non-organic chemicals such as organic fertilizers, some of which are organic, and non-organic fertilizers, plant toxic substances, and copper oxide are used. There is no surprise in this production situation. In agricultural production, it is itself a situation in a struggle with nature.

It is free to use additives such as E200, E220, E250, E296, E330 in the Organic Agriculture Regulation. The 2 Regulations on the implementation of the Organic Agriculture Law are exactly the same as the organic agriculture legislation in the European Union. The concept of “Sustainable Agriculture”, which envisages increasing soil fertility with natural fertilizers instead of artificial fertilizers, is currently the basic mass of Organic Agriculture. Another concept of organic farming today is the active use of “Combating Plant Diseases and Harm” chemicals. The negative effects of synthetic pesticides used in agriculture on the natural environment were written in 1962 by Rachle Carson with the book "Silent Spring". With this superb book that Carson wrote the US, followed by DDT and other developed countries have also agreed principles regarding the prohibition in Turkey. 99 percent of the chemicals people are exposed to today come from natural products. For example; There are over 1000 different chemical varieties in coffee. 28 of these chemicals were tested by institutions and 19 were found to cause cancer on the mouse structure. 71 of the Natural Pestites were tested and 37 were found to be carcinogenic. Today, most of its natural products have taken the quality of evidence with scientific studies that it is not as natural as we think. Organic farming or organic products are not “hüda-i nabit” natural products that are offered to the citizens directly from the field.
